Successfully exploring this optional dungeon requires a keen eye for invisible traps and a solid strategy to tackle its resident threats.

Finding the Hidden Entrance

Locating this specific dungeon can be highly disorienting because the thick snowstorms severely reduce visibility across the surrounding terrain. To find the entrance, players must journey toward the far eastern edge of the Consecrated Snowfield along the massive cliff sides. Carefully follow the rock walls south from the frozen river area until the telltale glowing brazier marks the doorway.

Before venturing inside, it is highly recommended to rest at a nearby Site of Grace to prepare your loadout. The enemies within utilize devastating frostbite and bleed mechanics that can quickly overwhelm unprepared adventurers. Ensuring your character has adequate physical protection and curative items will make the upcoming descent much more manageable.

Navigating the Frost Traps

Once inside the subterranean halls, players are immediately greeted by standard catacomb architecture filled with aggressive imps. The primary hazard in this layout involves complex multi-tiered pillars that breathe continuous streams of frostbite-inducing mist. Mistiming your sprint past these pillars will cause rapid status buildup, which quickly drains your health pool.

To safely disable these mechanisms, you can strike them with a ranged projectile or a well-timed melee attack. Deactivating the traps allows you to systematically search the side alcoves for rare upgrade materials like Grave Glovewort. Taking a slow, methodical approach ensures you do not trigger multiple traps simultaneously while fighting off the ambush units.

Locating the Level Mechanism

Progressing deep into the lower chambers eventually brings you to the locked heavy doors leading to the area boss. The lever required to unlock this gateway is hidden on an upper balcony that requires some creative platforming to reach. Players must ride one of the rising frost pillars upward to access the hidden second-floor corridors.

The upper level is heavily guarded by powerful cleanrot knights that patrol the narrow walkways. Engaging these sentinels one at a time is crucial to avoiding fatal positioning errors near the high ledges. Once the enemies are defeated, follow the balcony to the end to pull the lever and unlock the boss room below.

Conquering the Dungeon Bosses

Returning to the main foyer reveals the opened gate leading directly into a highly challenging combat encounter. The boss room contains two formidable opponents that challenge your ability to manage multiple threats simultaneously. Splitting their focus by using spirit summons can give you the necessary breathing room to deal consistent damage.
